We had dinner with Kelsey and Ashley at Hunan's in Arcata. Kelsey's parents also joined us for dinner. We had a great time hearing what the futures will be for the new graduates. Kelsey will be in Rohnert Park for a little while longer and Ashley is off to Washington D. C. to work for the Defense Dept. Go Girls!!!
During Memorial Weekend they have the Kinetic Sculpture Race which goes from Arcata to Eureka to Ferndale. It was started by Hobart Brown in 1969. All the vehicles use pedal power and must float. Here are some of the sculptures from this years race.
We finally finished putting the entertainment center together so here it is . We also got our new swivel, recliner, rockers.
